Transfer 12 Week 2 - July 21, 2014

Family!

Things here are good. This week I went on two exchanges in different
areas, and when I came back I was just so grateful to be serving in
Vineland. I love to see the work progress and how things shape
differently according to the missionaries work ethic, and all I can
say is I love the amazing things that are going on here!

This week we also took a trip to the Philly temple site with our
recent convert William and the cook family from our ward. It was a
blast! We were able to hand out cookies to the temple construction
workers when they came off the site for their lunch break. Then we
went to the visitors center in the temple and watched a video and
listened to the Carr's talk about the temple and how that is how we
should build our lives. To finish off the day we walked to reading
terminal market. If you guys don't know what that is, I suggest that
you look it up. It is also in the movie national treasure when the
lady is running from the bad guy- It is probably one of my most
favorite places to eat. It is a huge market with any kind of food, my
favorite is the Amish doughnuts, and millers twist pretzels. I also
had a gyro! :)

Well the highlight of the week was when we were able to participate in
Vickie Corsons baptism. It took place at union lake here in Millville.
It was probably one of the first lake baptisms here in over 20 yrs.
just seeing the happiness on someone's face when they are able to see
so many ward members there to support them or when they come up out of
the water is just one of those sacred moments that I will always
treasure!

Things here are going well though. We are trying to work hard to find
more people to teach. Wee had been teaching John and Liz these two
teenage twin kids. We aren't sure if Liz is all that interested or
what she is hoping to get out of meeting with us, but John should be
getting baptized here in a few weeks! Will keep you updated, keep us
in your prayers. :)

Hope everything is going well back home and that you are enjoying your
summer fun and the family vacation. Sad I missed out on the bar j
wranglers. I loved seeing them the last time that we went there!

Keep up the good work, pry for missionary opportunities and look for
miracles everyday!
Love,
Sister Chalet Beames
