Transfer 12 Week 6 - August 18, 2014

Family! I'm getting transferred! My stay here in Vineland NJ has now
come to an end! It has been a beautiful 6 months and it is going to be
so hard to say good bye! I know I love each area on my mission, but
this place has own my heart once again! I feel like this was an area
where I have seen the most growth in myself! Heavenly Father has
really allowed me to just participate in this work here and see
amazing people each day where I have been able to feel so much love
for them and know them more through gods eyes! I know that each of us
are children of god! I know that each of us can change and that is
possible through Jesus Christ! As we hold to the plow and not look
back we take steps further onto the paths of righteousness to a place
which our father in heaven had prepared for us! What a great journey!
I love you NJ!

This week has been something of excitement! Mostly just talking with
everyone is what I love the most! There is always someone that God
will place in our paths for us to share a message with or to help!
We were able to help out at the soup kitchen as well again this week.
Except this time they switched buildings so we were at a St. Andrews
church. We helped the lady pastor Allen do some things with organizing
food and working in the back. It was cool being in the back room- it
is like they have a ton of stuff just for show! But we got some good
pictures! :)

It rained a ton this week! There was so much rain and many houses were
flooded that Mormon helping hands is going to be doing a lot of
service projects this weekend to clean out basements and places that
were damaged. I took a video where it looked like we were driving
through a flood! It was nuts!

Wednesday was super special. We were helping some of recent converts
do family history work! Vickie, William, and Evelyn, and another
member-sister Parton, who has been a member for about ten yrs-have all
started doing famiy history! It was so great because there is such a
wonderful spirit that comes when they participate in here work of
saving souls especially with family members! —This last Saturday they
all went to the temple for the first time: William was baptized for
his son, his brother and his father! Sister Parton was baptized for
her mother and Williams mother! Oh it was amazing! Brother place who
is a member of our bishopric said when he was confirming William he
knew that his family was there with them! It made me so happy! I know
this day was also the anniversary day that mom and dad were sealed so
there was such a special feeling in my heart and to also know that
these individuals were able to have experiences that will change them
and they will carry with them for forever!

There were so many sweet goodbyes that I have said this last week! So
many sweet memories and so many sacred moments filled with the spirit!
I love being a missionary and being able to serve God! Hope all of you
are doing well! Keep pushing forward!
Love you have a great week!
